Five Tuesdays starting Feb.  20

Supper 5:30 pm-6:15 pm

The Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37

Presentation and discussion 6:15 pm-7:30 pm

This year’s Lenten study seems to have emerged quite naturally from the political climate in which we find ourselves. Identifying with the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37, the program will grapple with the question of what our faith teaches us about how we treat people who are not like us in a variety of ways. It will challenge us to act in the world in ways that are consistent with those who know the Good News and the meaning of Jesus’ Resurrection. It will ask us to think about what we are called to do to bring the resurrection life to those who have only been able to see it as a future event
