picnic 4stWelcome!  Children are always welcome in worship at St. Paul’s—whether in our two services held in the sanctuary at 8am and 10:30am, or in our special Family Service held in our upstairs Gathering Room at 9:30am.

Our Christian Formation for Children is designed so that families can choose the worship service time and style that works best for you.  Church school begins at 10:30 am and ends at 11:15 am.  You can choose whether to attend our casual 9:30 am Family Service or our more traditional worship at 10:30am—in the latter case, your children will be finished in time to join you for the Eucharist.

All our programs for kids emphasize hands-on learning, catering to a variety of learning styles and capabilities.  Kids not only hear the foundational stories of our faith, they act them out, paint, sculpt, mold, and draw them, and live into them through game-playing and plain old fun!

If your child has special needs, please let us know so that we can work with you to welcome them into the appropriate class and provide any accommodations that would make their church school experience more comfortable.

Because children are our greatest treasure and responsibility, we choose our teachers with great care for their personal integrity and deep faith, as well as their ability to relate to children.  All are encouraged to take the diocesan Safe Church training, which addresses the many issues of safety parishes need to be aware of when planning activities for children and families.
