The Latest News from St. Paul’s Stewardship Committee

Dear friends,

Sunday, November 5, marked the annual “ingathering” of S. Paul’s annual stewardship season. We are delighted to report that nearly 80% of parishioners who’ve pledged in the past have renewed their pledges already. Of those, about half have increased their gifts of support for the work we do together at St. Paul’s. All of the vestry members and wardens have made their pledges. Despite change and uncertainty, the people of St. Paul’s have strongly affirmed that we are rooted in abundance, and we are very grateful!

The Vestry will soon be discussing next year’s budget, planning how we will continue to serve one another and the wider community with love in action. Our deep thanks to all who have already made their pledges for 2024.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to consider your pledge, we invite you to discern how you might support the mission and ministries that our church family has embraced. We ask that all parishioners complete pledge forms by the end of November, even those who have automatic withdrawals.

Please be aware that if you pledge online, the church still needs a completed Pledge Card from you, authorizing your payment. You can print and deliver the Pledge Card below or mail it to St. Paul’s (P.O. Box 195, Brunswick, ME 04011).

Whatever you can pledge during these uncertain times will be deeply appreciated. As vital as the financial support is, it’s the way parishioners lavish commitment and care on our life together that makes us a living body of Christ. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Yours in love and with appreciation,

Johanna Wigg, Stewardship Committee Chair Cliff Ruprecht and Deborah Goodwin, Wardens
