The Quiet Morning on Saturday, March 15, 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. invites us to “Be still and know that I am God.” Our facilitator, Mary Lee Wile, will begin with a simple Morning Prayer for Lent, followed by two brief teachings and two extended periods of silence in which to explore and maybe even experience the still, small voice within and beyond us. Participants will be given the opportunity to read, write, draw, or meditate on stillness during the times of quiet, and, at the end of the morning, to share their responses. Lunch follows. In order to have enough handouts and enough food, please sign up by Wednesday, March 12, either by talking with Mary Lee after the service on Sunday or by calling the church office.
