Nov 2- Evensong for the Feast of All Saints’ at 4:00 p.m
Rector Rev. Carolyn Eklund and the parish of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church invite you to a Service of Evensong for the Feast of All Saints, Sunday, November 2 at 4:00 p.m. All are welcome!
Evensong is a service of choral prayer led by a choir, and has been part of the Anglican and Episcopal tradition for centuries. The music is rich, worshipful and beautiful. The St. Paul’s choir and Bowdoin’s George Lopez, organ, under the direction of Bob Judd, will present music by Stanley Marchant, Herbert Murrill, Charles Stanford, and William Smith. Fellowship and refreshments will follow the forty-five-minute service.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, consecrated in 1845, has provided worship in Brunswick for nearly 170 years. The sanctuary was renovated in 2012, at which time a new state-of-the-art hybrid organ was installed.
St. Paul’s is located at 27 Pleasant Street in Brunswick. Parking is available behind the church (off Union Street), as well as on adjacent streets.
