Lenten Quiet Morning Saturday, March 14

There’s still time to register for Saturday’s Quiet Day, titled “Mortify our Wolves” led by our deacon, The Rev. Mary Lee Wile. Come for a morning of challenging wolfintrospection amid prayerful silence, followed by thoughtful conversation and a simple lunch of soup and bread, prepared by our rector. This Saturday, March 14, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Please call the church office (207-725-5342) or reply to this email if you would like to attend.

Quiet Day description:

In her poem “God Works in a Mysterious Way,” Gwendolyn Brooks invites God to: “Step forth in splendor, mortify our wolves…”
