Holy Week at St. Paul’s

 Palm Sunday, March 25
  • 8:00 a.m.   The congregation meets in the Great Hall for Liturgy  of the Palms. Indoor palm procession is led into the Nave. Dramatic reading of the Passion of St. Mark concludes worship.
  • 9:30 a.m. The Family Eucharist congregation meets in the Great Hall for palm procession. Acting out of Jesus’ Passion.
  • 10:30 a.m. The congregation meets our choirs in the Great Hall for sung Liturgy of the Palms. Weather permitting, procession is led outside around Union Street into the front door on Pleasant Street. Dramatic reading of the Passion of St. Mark concludes worship.

Monday-Wed.       5:30 p.m. Evening Prayer in the Celtic Tradition, Nave
Maundy Thursday, March 29
  • 7:30 a.m. Morning Prayer in the Celtic Tradition, Nave
  • 11:00 a.m. Thursday Healing Eucharist, Great Hall
  • 7:00 p.m. Eucharist with Choir, Foot Washing, The Stripping of the Altar, And Meditation in ‘Garden of Repose’, Nave
Good Friday, March 30
  • 7:30 a.m. Morning Prayer in the Celtic Tradition, Nave
  • 11:00 a.m.   Stations of the Cross, a devotion around the block
  • Noon Good Friday Liturgy with St. Paul’s Choir
    • 3:00 p.m. Remembering the time of Jesus’ death. Church doors close.
Easter Vigil, Saturday March 31
  • 7:00 p.m. Our observance is with Grace Church at St. Paul’s. Light the New Fire of the Resurrection with us!

 Easter Sunday, April 1

  • 8:00 a.m.  Celebration of Easter, Holy Eucharist with special choral & organ music.
  • 10:30 a.m.  Celebration of Easter Holy Baptism and commissioning of the Paschal Candle stand, Holy Eucharist with special choral & organ music.
    • Room set up with activities and snacks for children.
    • No 9:30 a.m. Family Eucharist
