October 30, 2020: What’s Happening at St. Paul’s

The prayer “For an Election”

  • Almighty God, to whom we must account for all our powers and privileges: Guide the people of the United States in the election of officials and representatives; that, by faithful administration and wise laws, the rights of all may be protected and our nation be enabled to fulfill your purposes; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.   P. 822 BCP

In addition to praying this prayer for an Election found in the Book of Common Prayer on page 822, I invite you to join the Episcopal Peace Fellowship and me on November 4 to stand against gun violence and militias. I invite you to consider this statement from the Episcopal Peace Fellowship and pray for God’s peace.

With the love and peace of Christ,
Carolyn
