“Come, let us sing to the Lord; let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.”
These words from the Venite in Sunday Morning prayer are the foundation of worship for the people of St. Paul’s. They are for us an invitation to sing, pray, and gather in joy to thank God for God’s strength and love we receive in community and worship.
Particularly in these days of pandemic uncertainty, beautiful music and worship, inspiring preaching and the daily opportunity to gather in prayer are what feed the people of St. Paul’s. We are profoundly called to love and serve Christ and our neighbor.
Our goal is to have no cases of COVID-19 spread from worship. That’s why you can find us online praying with our “virtual faith community” very often.
Our Lay Worship Leaders and clergy offer Daily Morning Prayer and Compline on our Facebook Livestream at 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
On Sundays, the Lord’s Day, our Spiritual Eucharist worship is a livestream offering of worship that nurtures and transforms our souls. Sunday worship captures the many voices of our ministers of the liturgy, the beautiful music provided by our Music Ministry Director, Randy Day, and the recorded voices of the choir.
A particular favorite is their recording of the Venite chant.
You can join us for live Zoom Family Worship, led by the Rev. Katie Holicky, our assistant rector for children and youth who creates her own engaging Bible Storybook videos, prayers and includes a fun and joy-filled time for catching up with each other.
Sunday Spiritual Eucharist begins at 10:30 a.m. as Randy Day plays a prelude to being our livestream of worship always with inspiring sermons.
On the fourth Sunday of each month, on our St. Paul’s Facebook at 10:30 a.m., the Diocese of Maine offers their recording of diocesan-wide “Spiritual Eucharist” with many clergy and lay people of the diocese leading worship, and our bishop, The Rt. Rev. Thomas Brown as the preacher.
Join the community of St. Paul’s and many others across the country in the joy of worship livestream.
